Millwall Defeats QPR, Handing Rangers Boss His First Home Loss
Millwall stunned Queens Park Rangers (QPR) to deliver Rangers manager Julien Stephan his first home defeat, while also securing a spot in the Championship play-off positions.
QPR started the match determined to extend their six-game unbeaten streak, but Alex Neil's Millwall took control late in the first half.
Femi Azeez opened the scoring for Millwall in the 36th minute, and Mihailo Ivanovic added a second goal just before halftime, heading the ball home during stoppage time.
QPR's Rumarn Burrell, who came on as a substitute, managed to score a goal five minutes before the end of the match, but Millwall held on for a tense finish, preserving their unbeaten record away from home.
