Solihull Moors Dismiss Matt Taylor Following Winless Start
Solihull Moors have parted ways with manager Matt Taylor after a disappointing start to the National League season.
The Moors, who reached the play-off finals in two of the last four seasons, currently sit at the bottom of England's fifth tier, having lost four and drawn three of their first seven matches.
During his tenure, Taylor achieved only four victories in 26 games after taking over from Andy Whing, who left to manage Barrow in January.
The 43-year-old, who previously held managerial positions at Walsall, Shrewsbury Town, and Tottenham's Under-18 team, joined Solihull from Wealdstone.
Coaches Terry Connor and Elliot Minto, who were part of Taylor's staff and have notable playing backgrounds, have also exited the club.
James Quinn, a former Northern Ireland international and previous Solihull coach, has been appointed as caretaker manager while the club seeks a permanent replacement.
Quinn's first match in charge will be against Boston United on Saturday.
