Middlesbrough Secures Comeback Victory Under New Manager Kim Hellberg
Kim Hellberg made a triumphant debut in the Middlesbrough dugout, leading his team to a comeback victory against Derby County at the Riverside Stadium.
The 37-year-old former Hammarby manager, who recently succeeded Rob Edwards at the Championship club, secured all three points with a 2-1 win after trailing at halftime.
Patrick Agyemang had given John Eustace's in-form Derby County a lead just two minutes into the match. However, second-half goals from Matt Targett and Morgan Whittaker flipped the game in Middlesbrough's favor.
This victory propelled Boro, who started the day in third place, back into the second automatic promotion spot, now two points ahead of Millwall in third. Meanwhile, Derby County fell two places to 10th, now three points adrift of the playoff zone.
